Automatic Door Safety Features
All of the doors we supply have integrated safety features to ensure a safe environment for your staff and customers.
Many of these safety mechanisms are built in to the doors’ operating systems and so will work whatever specific user settings you have applied.
All of our sliding doors will reopen automatically if they hit an object as they are closing.
You can choose to have other safety equipment installed onto the doors at the factory. Cameron Barclay’s Project Managers are able to advise you on all of the additional protection features available with our doors.
Optional Sliding Door Safety Features
A photocell safety beam system can be installed. This will stop the door from closing if there is an object blocking its path.
If you choose to install a UPS Advanced Battery System, the doors will continue to operate for a further 30 minutes following a power failure. This unit is self-charging and will operate automatically. This comes as standard on our hermetic sliding doors.
We also offer an electro-mechanical locking system that ensures your doors are securely closed. This is useful if you want to enhance your night-time security.
Revolving Door Safety Features
Our revolving doors come with a wealth of integral safety features ensuring trouble-free operation.
Secure Locking – When instructed, the door automatically moves to its locking position prior to manual locking. The external security doors are easy to use and fully enclose the revolving doors for extra night-time security.
Fire alarm – These doors have an integrated 3-chip signal wire control. If the alarm sounds, the doors automatically move to ‘Push and Go’ mode allowing speedy evacuation of the premises.
Anti-squeeze – If the revolving part of the door detects an object in its path it will stop immediately.
You are able to set your own resistance parameters for the revolving wing.
Anti-strike – The doors stops immediately if it is struck at the bottom of the revolving wing.
Disabled Access – Disabled pedestrians are able to slow the speed of the revolving door by simply pushing a button.
